Three planned Tube strikes have been called off after the driver at the centre of the row was given his job back by London Underground (LU). Nike Air Max 2009 Arwyn Thomas has been reinstated after a tribunal said he was unfairly sacked. LU had said he was dismissed for alleged unacceptable behaviour towards staff but the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union insisted his role as its representative was to blame. The RMT said it would not go ahead with walkouts scheduled from next Monday. Union members were also due to begin action next Wednesday and Friday. ...

A flashpoint area of east Belfast is calm after a day of negotiations aimed at preventing a third night of trouble. Nike Air Max Burst Loyalist and nationalist sources have told the BBC talks have reached an agreement to prevent any trouble on Wednesday night. There was a large police presence in the area during the day, but this was withdrawn at 2045 BST as community marshals appeared. There are large crowds in the area, but it is quiet. A 22-year-old man from west Belfast was arrested on Wednesday night in connection with the trouble in east Belfast. He is being questioned at Antrim police station. ...

An independent review of the £32bn HS2 London to Birmingham high-speed rail project is to published. The review will be published on Tuesday, when the committee holds the first of five evidence sessions on HS2. The first phase of HS2, from London to Birmingham, is due to be open in 2026, with extensions further north later. The coalition is "losing its way" over its promised public sector reforms in the face of union pressure and fears of a public backlash, the CBI is to claim Nike Dunk SB Mid. The business group's deputy director general is to say the planned NHS shake-up has turned into a "debacle". And Neil Bentley will urge ministers to ignore the "forces of inertia" and push on with public sector pension changes. UK unemployment fell 88,000 in the three months to April this year to 2.43 million, the biggest drop since the summer of 2000, latest data shows. Cheap Kids Dunk High The unemployment rate was 7.7%, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), down from 7.9% in the previous quarter. However, the number of people claiming Jobseeker's Allowance in May rose by 19,600 to 1.49 million. The rise was the biggest since July 2009, and larger than expected.
